Day 3 Rab to Mali Losinj

We arrived in Rab, after departing Mali Losinj and waiting first in line for the channel to open at 9 am. Most of the crew was still recovering from Day 2. Lazy day at sea at about 3 knots. Rab was a beautiful tourist town on an island. We ran into some fellow sea-goers that skipper Andy and I had met in Cres over morning coffee. They were from San Francisco, but had family in Croatia. We had dinner at Paradiso restaurant, everyone ordered brick-oven pizzas and we had two bottles of Merlot. We walked around the town bustling with people and watched a sweet performance at the local favorite gelato shoppe. There was a folk music festival in the center of town and sketch artists doing portraits in their booths. We had plans to go to the discoteque but ended back on the boat for an early retire. Our boat was parked right on the promenade and attracted quite a bit of attention. We were the biggest in the moor. Some of the crew slept on deck for a portion of the evening, including myself. Christina and I got the bench seats and were awoken by an early morning drizzle and birds preparing for the storm.

  1. The video is a little fuzzy, but what its showing is the birds, lots of them, flying around and chirping.
