We shared such close quarters, that I thought I would get extreme close ups of everyone.

Ilovik back to home port of Pula- Last Day :(

Leaving Ilovik back to Pula, we hit 10 knots but averaged about 8. We had 50 nautical miles to travel. We left at 1030 and arrived by 4 to swim in a cove right past our port at Pula. There was a young teen's party boat going off, kids jumping off from all levels. On the rocky shore, there were two different 60-100 foot cliffs you could climb up to and jump from. I injured myself the first time, but tried again and enjoyed it very much. We had to wait to jump for the scuba diving cave-goers to pass underneath on their way to the sea grotto. We followed suit, but it was very difficult to see anything because it is dark in caves. By the time Christina, Nick, Stacia and I had swam back just in time for the inclement weather to convince us to pull in the anchor for the last time and dock. We went out to the casino for dinner, lost some dough and ended up at a pizzaria. The girls went souvenier shopping. It started to rain heavily so we returned to our boat for one last night of being lulled to sleep by the gentle rock of the Summer Sky.

Day 6 Ist to Ilovik

Sailing 9 knots from Ist to Ilovik, we stopped at a sandy beach cove, anchored and took the dingy to the beach, dove for shells and had Bavarian beer. That came after breakfast, of course...Breakfast was pancakes, pasta for lunch on the boat and then dinner a restaurant by the marina with a beautiful view. We fed the fish in the marina some bread from our table. Jay had lamb, it was succulent, Andrea had weinersnitchel, stuffed peppers and palanchinka, large beer and palinka. Nick and Stacia had a smorgasboard of bean salad, breaded cheese (super yum!) soup, spaghetti bolognese, black olives and beers, palachinka for dessert. Andy got roasted squid, fish soup, fresh salad, french fries and palanchinka. Christina & I had mussels, I had breaded cheese and chocolate palanchinka. The after dinner shot did not settle too well with me :P We went to bed after conversing with our neighboring boat from Germany.
