Day 5 Novalia to Ist
Andy, Andrea and I had our morning coffee. Since we were parked in the moor, we had to dingy back to shore. We got more water for the boat, pony tail holders for the girls, ice and more gas for the dingy. We had to take Summer Sky down to a very low depth in order to get her into the ice area. Skipper Andy was dealing with a full keel here, ladies and gentlemen. Then shortly after 9 at about 9 knots, we spotted dolphins fishing. We killed our speed, I tried to film, but couldn't see anything. I saw Nick's stills and he got some great ones of them jumping, boo again on my pictures. We sailed on to our secluded beach location for the day, snorkeling, mai tais and freedom. Arriving shortly after 5 and showering, we had wine on deck. Nick, Stacia, Christina and I scoped the town for a whole three options for dinner. This was a very scarcely populated island. We chose the first one we looked at, Carubba. There were local cats that hung around the tables looking needy. I had a lovely lobster pasta combo after a first course tomato soup, Andrea had squid, Christina-mussels, Jay & Nick-the usual mixed-meat platter, Stacia had salad and cheese, Andy-whitefish. Following dinner, the complimentary shot and a stroll through the small town to the other restaurant Katy. Dessert was chocolate mousse cake and lemon vodka sorbetto. We retired early again, I slept above deck.
