Stacia and Nick arrived later in the day after we took the boat out for a test run. We all went out to eat in Veruda, took a taxi into town and found a restaurant that was ready to close at about 10pm. But since it was a family restaurant, they stayed open for us and served an amazing meal.
I had fish soup as an appetizer and spagetthi and good Croatian beers. I was rather tipsy so I made Christina laugh hard at the Russian girl coming out of me. It was so late on our return that our taxi driver wasn't answering his phone. We began walking and when we finally saw a cab I began sprinting to catch it, which I did about 150 meters down the street. I dropped my leftover spagetthi, catching the angry taxi in front of the vampire laden club we had just left. The cabby had to take two trips to get everyone back to the marina and he didn't like this very much. Christina and I laughed so hard on the walk to the boat that our stomachs and brains hurt.
